Tar Gosht

Tar Gosht is a famous mutton dish with a blend of spices. It has originated from the city of Rampur. Rampuri dishes reflect Muslim and Mughlai traditions. This cuisine was developed by the chefs of the Nawabs of Rampur during the British Rule. This dish, prepared overnight, is cooked over a slow fire and is a specialty served on all festive occasions by the royal family.
