Gohana Bori

Gohana Bori, also known as Naksha Bori, is a dried dal dumpling laced with poppy seeds, usually eaten fried with steam rice ghee. It is made with black lentil, poppy seeds and spices.

The design of this dish is similar to the Bengali filigree pattern. The recipe of this dish goes back over 300 years. It originated in the Midnapur district in Bengal.
