Peacock Feathers

'Mor Pankh' or Peacock feathers are considered auspicious in Hinduism and several other tribes and cultures. Peacock feathers adorn most Indian houses as they are associated with bringing good luck, prosperity, and wealth into a home. Along with being revered as the national bird, the magnificent peacock is the 'vahana' or vehicle of several Hindu gods and goddesses. Peacock feathers are also used as a safeguard, for protection, and they are also believed to repel flies and insects.
