Rosewood Japmala

A Japmala is a prayer beads string customarily used in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and several religions as a spiritual practice. It is also considered an excellent healing source which strengthens the aura and repels negative energy. It induces focus through count repetitions of a mantra, and meditation, further aiding in spiritual growth and well-being. A traditional japamala contains 108 beads; each time a mantra is repeated, the fingers move to the next bead. Prayer beads are made from different materials, each with a distinct purpose. Rudraksha, carnelian, amethyst, glass, wood, Boddhi seeds, tulsi, sandalwood, pearls, and even corals, are some of these materials.
