Description
The Bagata people have a well-developed sense of harmony with nature. They seek every solution to their problems within nature and have an almost interpersonal relationship with it. Nature is their teacher, friend, philosopher and guide. Many of the Bagata people are experts of bio-cultural diversity. They cure themselves using those elements that are readily available in nature. The shamans and others know how to cure diseases from the bark, roots, herbs, and other attributes of nature, and prepare medicines from medicinal plants, bones, teeth, nails, skin, horns, oils of wild animals and birds.
