Description
Penü is the main attraction of the Muruñ ritual. A procession is carried out by the people, led by the priest of the village. The procession originates and ends at the house where the Muruñ ritual is performed, after circumambulating the village. Men and women of all ages participate in this ritual. This ritualistic space offers a platform to the Apatani to display their cultural heritage.
