Description
The Kit Laam dance of the Rongmei Naga was performed by a visiting troupe as a part of the cultural events during the INTACH-AITS workshop. The movement of the dancers is accompanied by drumbeats that enhance its intrinsic liveliness and capture the interest of the audiences. These colourful dances are performed in various forms; some are presented either by only unmarried or only by married women, but the majority of performances involve a mixed group of both men and women.
