In this documentation, various dance forms of the northeast region are featured; Maruni dance of Sikkim, Bardoi Sikhla dance of the Bodo community in Assam, Deori Bihu of Deori community in Assam, Kapung (umbrella dance) of the Khampti in Arunachal Pradesh, Shad Pilang dance (plate dance) of Jaintia tribe in Meghalaya, Parlam (flower dance) of Mizo community of Mizoram, Serkenyi dance of the Angami of Nagaland, Zou Loukhaw Lam dance of Zomi community in Manipur. This documentation was done by filmmaker Sh. Bappa Ray and was produced by the ICH Division.
