Description
Married, adult women usually wear a sari wrapped around the body and tied up at the right shoulder. The elderly women do not wear a blouse. The women love wearing ornaments like ear studs, nose rings and beaded necklaces. Nose rings were earlier worn on both the nasal wings as well as on the nasal septum. Women tie their hair towards the right side of the head as a knot known as koppu.
