Description
A short documentary on the 'Living Heritage of Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan', made by the Sawai Madhopur Chapter, INTACH, in 2015. It covers the intangible heritage of the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. Set between the Rann and Thambh hills, the city contains various art forms like terracotta art, handicrafts, items made from Khas grass, lac ki chudiyan (bangles), traditional handloom, brass utensils by Thatheras, sang-e-marmar (marble) sculptures, and various forms of painting. At the famous heritage fort of Ranthambhore, hundreds of devotees come to the Trinetra Gajananda temple on Bhadrapada Chaturthi. It is indeed 'the city of temples'.
